The Hawaii Reef Compliant Act 104, in effect as of January 1, 2021, prohibits the sale of sunscreens containing the chemicals Oxybenzone and Octinoxate in Hawaii. These chemicals can negatively impact corals and other marine life.

Non-Nano Formulations
The size of the particles of the Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide are larger than 100 nanometers which mean the sunscreen sits on top of the skin and are too large to absorb into the skin. This makes the sunscreen even more safe for coral reefs and the environment.
Oxybenzone and Octinoxate-Free
We're proud to say "no" to harmful chemicals like Oxybenzone and Octinoxate. These two ingredients have been identified as contributing to coral reef degradation, and we're committed to keeping them out of our formulations.
